Aussies want to make sure their pets are as healthy as they are, and CanineCeuticals is rising to the challenge.

The wellness industry has been sweeping the world, with consumers investing in supplements, gym memberships and holistic services to ensure they have optimal health.

This upward trend is now having a knockon effect with more and more pet owners searching for wellness products for their furry friends to help manage an array of different health issues.

CanineCeuticals has become a leader in this emerging market with its range of premium-quality dog supplements that have become a hit with pet owners.

Founder and managing director Narelle Cooke says the rise in demand for her pet wellbeing products is largely thanks to dog owners becoming increasingly savvy when it comes to health and wellbeing.

“I think that as people have become more focused on their own health and wellbeing, they are wanting the same for their pets, especially as our bond with our pets has strengthened and they are increasingly considered family,” she says. “Essentially, the way we care for ourselves often mirrors how we care for our pets.”

Cooke launched CanineCeuticals in January 2022 after experiencing a health scare with her beloved pet dog. While caring for her dog, she noticed a lack of products available for animal owners who were conscious of ensuring their pet was ingesting highquality ingredients that supplemented their health rather than hindered it.

“Too often, these products contain subpar, artificial ingredients, undermining our pets’ health and longevity,” Cooke says.

“I found myself turning to human supplements for her recovery due to my scepticism around the animal supplement market. This mistrust was rooted in the lax regulatory standards for animal supplements, allowing the prevalent use of inferior ingredients and poor transparency.”

Cooke’s experience as a clinical naturopath, nutritionist and herbal specialist gave her the backing she needed to launch a range of dog supplements that were premiumquality, made with human-grade ingredients, and free from unnecessary fillers, colours, flavours and preservatives.

She developed these products with a keen understanding of physiological and biochemical processes and how various ingredients can impact health conditions in both humans and animals.

The range of CanineCeuticals supplements has expanded to include a host of products that treat various pet-health challenges. Customers are encouraged to book a consultation where a qualified canine nutritionist can fully assess the pet’s health condition and history before offering advice on which supplements will help them best.

Cooke says the most common ailments they see are digestive, skin and joint complications in dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. It comes as no surprise, then, that one of the company’s top-selling products is Gut Protect, which is designed to ease diarrhoea, bloating and unpleasant gas in dogs battling digestive health issues.

As society continues to shift towards a more healthy and balanced lifestyle, it makes sense that this mentality extends to the pets of this world. CanineCeuticals has captured this growing trend and looks set to continue expanding as pet owners invest in a high level of healthcare for the whole family.
